This is a 1/200 scale model of Asiana Airline's Boeing 747-400. This model is manufactured by SQ Wings and is the exact replica of the aircraft with registration number HL7428. This aircraft was the airline's last passenger Boeing 747-400 and was recently retired in March 2024.

The Boeing 747, affectionately known worldwide as “The Queen of the Skies” or “The Jumbo Jet”, single-handedly changed commercial air travel upon its introduction during the late 60’s. With a production run that lasted for more than 50 years, over 1000 units of this plane were made and graced the international skies.

Asiana Airlines operated 20 Boeing 747-400s in its lifetime, 11 of which are still in operation as cargo aircraft. 9 planes were retired, three of which were the -400's passenger variant. The airline will soon be owned by Korean Air, thus adding uncertainty over the future of the 11 remaining Jumbo Jets in the fleet.
